About Us

Welcome...

If you’ve never been in a church or are looking for a new church home, we’d like to invite you to check out one of our Sunday worship services.

Here at Community Covenant Church you’ll find Bible-based teaching that encourages, empowers and challenges; God-centered exceptional worship and a welcoming environment.

You’ll have the opportunity to learn about God and the hope He offers, to grow in relationship with Him and discover how to live a lifestyle that is pleasing to Him.

Grayson Daganaar - Youth Pastor

Growing up in the church, my years in high school played a critical role in my spiritual development. It was during this time that I had a wonderful youth pastor who saw my strengths, passions, and interests, and showed me how I could use them to serve God. Now that I am a youth pastor, I also see that as a critical part of my calling. I love spending time with middle and high school students, listening to their stories and answering questions about what it means to be a follower of Christ. I find youth ministry to be the most energizing form of ministry. My wife, Katherine, and I came to Community Covenant Church in November 2015. In February, we welcomed our wonderful son, Hendrick. He has helped us understand the words of the old hymn, “How sweet to hold a newborn baby; and feel the pride and joy he gives.” Our interests include reading, watching Netflix, late-night Sonic runs, and playing with our dog, Max. We both love Kansas City and call it home.

Denise Snyder - Children's Director

Denise SnyderDenise has always loved ministering to the children and the youth of CCC. Denise's life drastically changed years ago upon agreeing to teach a Sunday School class. Her passion for teaching these little ones deepened as she saw them connect with stories of Jesus nad his sacrifice. She focuses on providing a fun learning environment to discover who God is and about his love for them. Denise looks forward to partnering with families to help kids begin a life-changing relationship with Jesus Christ.

In her free time, Denise enjoys spending time with her family, husband, Dan, son, Drew and daughter, Paige (son-in-law Josh) and her first grandchild, Aspen. They enjoy vacationing to new places each year and trips to the lake.

Sandra Brown - Administrative Assistant

Sandra has been the Administrative Assistant for the past year here at Kearney Community Covenant.  She tells us she feels extremely blessed to have the opportunity to work with caring people. She has always attended church. Growing up in a small town, attending vacation bible school and Sunday school class was something she looked forward to.  She is excited to see the ways in which God is going to use her, in her new position. She and her husband, Jerry, have two boys. Victor graduated from  MSU, and Aaron is a Junior at Missouri S & T. In their spare time they enjoy taking family vacations.  One of their favorite trips was cruising to the Bahamas.
