Children's Ministry Director

Denise is thrilled to be back at CCC after a short move to Oklahoma and excited to use her gifts in her new role of Children's Ministry Director. CCC has been her home for over 18 years and she has always loved ministering to the children and the youth. Denise's life drastically changed years ago upon agreeing to teach the Pre-K/K Sunday School class. Her passion for teaching these little ones deepened as she saw them connect with stories of Jesus and his sacrifice. She focuses on providing a fun learning environment to discover who God is and about his love for them. Denise looks forward to partnering with families to help kids begin a life-changing relationship with Jesus Christ.
In her free time, Denise enjoys spending time with her family, husband, Dan, son, Drew and daughter, Paige. They enjoy vacationing, trips to the lake, bowling and camping together.
Children's Overview
Sunday School
Pre-K through K, 1st - 2nd grade, and 3-6 grade each meet every Sunday at 9 am from Labor Day through Memorial Day. We use a wonderful curriculum called Faithweaver, in which every class hears the same story, the same bible point, and the same memory verse.
Kid's Worship
Kids, Pre-K through 4th grade, meet for the full hour of worship time at 10:30 for age-appropriate music, prayer, and message. The story is always related to what they have just heard in Sunday school. Kids bring an offering to support a food ministry in Honduras.

Nursery
Our nursery is located to the left of the main entrance. It is a safe, fun, brightly colored place with age-appropriate toys, books, puzzles, crafts, etc. All babies, newborn through age 3, are welcome to come and play with one of our experienced volunteers during the 9 or 10:30 hour.
TeamKID
Our Wednesday evening program runs from October through April. TeamKID is a fun time of high energy discipleship training for the kids in and around our congregation.
Vacation Bible School

VBS 2013 will be "Praise" by the Go Fish Guys and is the week of July 15-19th in the evening. (Times TBA)
