Outreach
Our mission is simple. Jesus said, "You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. A second is equally important. Love your neighbor as yourself." Matthew 22:37
To get involved in any of our current outreaches contact Brian Snodderly 816-628-4192:
Troop Box Packing: We meet several times a year to put together and send care packages to local troops who are serving overseas. Click Suggested Items for Military Troop Boxes for donations.
Faith in Action: Twice a year we go to a local person in need to provide seasonal home maintenance. Over the years we have visited homes in urban Kansas City, elderly people in and near our own congregation, and spruced up the Kearney Senior Center.
International Missionaries: We sponser a Covenant Missionary family who are currently serving in the Congo with their three children. You can read their blog at blogs.covchurch.org/ekstrand. See the bulletin board in the narthex for photos and information.
Mission trips to Honduras: We are building relationships in two Honduran communities by supporting their food ministry and by visiting twice a year to assist in worship services, building and maintaining homes, and providing any other assistance necessary.

Service 911: See 2 Corinthians 9:11 for a description of this ministry. We have several handy-men on call, ready to be dispatched for service at the next call for help.
