Sunday Mornings

Junior and Senior High Sunday school meets in the youth room during the 9:00 service.

Confirmation (The Firm) - 7th & 8th Grades

Confirmation or "The Firm" for short, is a two-year discipleship program to help 7th and 8th graders process their faith. The material covers the Old Testament, New Testament and church history.  Students use journals that begin with a short story, daily Bible reading and questions.  Students are also expected to complete required service hours, sermon notes and prepare a personal testimony to be delivered to the congregation.  Classes incorporate activities and experiences that help youth process their faith.  Classes are taught by Pastor Mike on Wednesday evenings from 7:00-7:45 p.m. during the school year. Graduates are confirmed in their faith on Confirmation Sunday each spring.

The Practice

This is a mid-week High School class designed to help students make godly life decisions and resist peer pressure.

CHIC

The department of Christian Formations walks alongside the churches and conferences of the Evangelical Covenant Church to host a triennial event for youth called CHIC (Covenant High in Christ). CHIC is a memory-burning, faith-challenging, multicultural, week-long conference that challenges high school students to respond to God’s call and to choose an epic life with Him.

Covenant Cedars

This is a wilderness campand conference center owned by the Evangelical Covenant Church and located in Nebraska. A trip to this beautifully appointed camp may be the highlight of a student's year.
