At Community Covenant, we exist to create a place where all are known and loved so that all can know and experience the love of Jesus.

We strive to be a community of authentic relationships where we:
Worship together, experiencing the joy of God's presence.
Study God's Word together, deepening our understanding of His truth.
Serve together, making a difference in our community and the world.
Encourage one another to grow in our faith and follow Jesus.

I love the Church! I grew up in Kearney and love serving the local church and God alongside my wife Meagan. Together we have 2 children, Nora and Jacob. I would love to get to know you; let's grab a cup of coffee!

I have been serving the local church my whole life. My desire is to help others grow in their relationship with Jesus, letting their lives be formed by Him.

I've served as the Administrative Assistant here since 2016. I feel blessed to work with such caring people. I enjoy singing with the Worship Team and serving the church in any way I can. My husband, Jerry, and I have two sons, Victor and Aaron. We enjoy biking and family vacations.

Brenda Chouris

Counselor

I'm currently enjoying "retirement" by counseling, volunteering with our student ministry, and going on mission trips. I'm originally from Carbondale, Illinois, and my background includes education, ministry, and counseling. I'm blessed with a wonderful family and a fulfilling career, and I'm joyful to serve others.

Community Covenant Church is a part of the Evangelical Covenant Church denomination. Our essential beliefs are summed up in these Covenant Affirmations.
